Strict
observation of privacy for all residents, staff, and
others who may reside in facility. |
|
|
|
|
|
Common rooms are not to be
used as a sleeping/changing rooms. |
|
|
|
No bedrooms of a resident/staff
shall be used as passageway to another room, bath, or
toilet. |
|
|
|
|
|
Residents shall only sleep
in their own designed bedroom. |
|
|
|
|
Residents shall respect the rights
and belongings of other residents. Threats, verbal
abuse, or physical harm will not be tolerated. |
|
|
|
|
Food services shall be selected,
stored, prepared, and served in a safe and healthful
manner with consideration to cultural, religious, and
medical food habits of each resident according to
pre-planned weekly menus. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
No alcohol or drugs use shall be
allowed in the premises. Alcoholic beverages are
allowed at meals provided proper doctor's approval is
secured and maintained in resident's file. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Smoking is permitted only in
designated areas outside the facility with direct
observation and assistance. |
|
|
|
|
Residents,
family, and friends must sign in and out on their
designed log books. |
|
|
Resident's relatives or friends
should call at least 30 minutes before taking out
residents to notify facility staff of expected pick-up
and return times so that proper meal planning and
medications can be prepared. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Observe
reasonable silence during 'siesta time' and at
'bedtime'. |
|
|
Visitation is daily from 9:00 A.M.
to 8:00 P.M. Arrangement can be made to visit the
resident at other times. |
|
|
|
|
Use of the facility telephone is
allowed for local calls and certain emergencies. Long
distance calls will be reimbursed to the facility. |
|
|
|
|
No weapons or any other device that
could pose a threat to the safety of the residents are
allowed in the facility premises. |
|
|
|
|
No safety hazards such as cooking
appliances, hot plates, heaters, candles, chemical and
toxic substance are permitted in any room. |
|
|
|
|
All medications including
over-the-counter and samples will be centrally stored
by the staff, and dispensed ONLY with written
prescription order from the doctor. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Each residents
is expected to maintained appropriate grooming and
hygiene.
